Welcome!
Welcome! My name is Tiffany and I’m a 30 plus SOLO Traveller. Though this hasn’t always been the case and unlike most, I’m going solo for the first time. I’m currently travelling full-time carry-on only, sharing with you the ups and downs of going solo, taking a grown up gap year and living life on your own terms.
For as long as I can remember all I have wanted to do is travel and be a teacher (two things which don’t often work together!) So I now take every opportunity to explore the world, absorb local cultures and eat chocolate!
As a teenager I would spend my evenings planning different routes around the world, planning that ‘perfect’ gap year. I knew where I would go, how to get there, how to pack a backpack – without taking too much and the ‘Virgin Travellers Handbook’ was never out of arms reach! But then life continued, I went to College and University and became focused on achieving my other goal in life – to become a teacher – but my Wanderlust continued to grow.
So here we are, I’m now a Special Needs Teacher (a job that I love) where no two days are the same and there are days that you could not make up! But I also live and breathe all things travel and love helping others to do the same, never spending more than I need to!
I want to share this passion and adventure with you. For more information check out my travel guides – for honest, realistic and budget savvy guides to my favourite destinations, with advice on when to spend and when to save – prioritising EXPERIENCES over EXPENSES.
